My 2nd Visit to Skippy's Bar

Wow, time flies by so fast. It's been 4 years since I first tried the food at Australian bar Skippy's. When they invited me to try their new additions, I didn't hesitate to say yes.

 Sisig Pizza

They sure used a very crunchy dough for their pizza and I like that. Since it's sisig, there are some egg, chili pepper and bell pepper spread all over the pizza. Two thumbs up for this dish.

 Beef Stew

Skippy's has a lunch set promo for only P199 including this good-looking Beef Stew. Those who are working nearby should be wise to take advantage of that. Back to the Beef Stew, I loved how the meat was cooked.

 Chicken Parmigiana

Chicken Parmigiana is one of my favorite dishes and Skippy's version did not disappoint. It's oozing with cheese too which is exactly the way I like it. The vegetables and french fries perfectly complimented it too.

 Skippys Nachos

One of the most popular appetizers not only in Mexican cuisines but in all cuisines is the Nachos. Their nachos contains a huge serving that's good for 4 to 5 people. It contains a lot of greens, tomatoes, and mayonnaise too.

 Beef & Onion Pie

I understand how Aussies love pies and the Beef & Onion Pie is a pie after my own heart. Its crust is a little hot though because it's cooked to perfection. I really admit I cherished every bite of this dish.

 Skippys Wings

One of their best-sellers is the Skippys Wings. From the moment I sampled it, I quickly found out why. It's very crunchy on the outside and tasty on the inside. Despite the red color, it's not spicy. Of course, it's best paired with rice so I quickly ordered one cup.

 Pork Belly

Another lunch set meal is the premium Pork Belly. The meat is so tender that it got me hooked from the start. It would have been better if this one is served with fries though.

 Black Pepper Fish

I'm a big fan of Creamy Dory so I was curious how their Black Peper Fish would taste like.  To nobody's surprise, I loved it especially the sauce that came with it. This is considerably healthy too.

Skippys Sweet Porkchop

Last but certainly not the least for their lunch set meals is the Sweet Porkchop.  It's cooked simply the way I love porkchops to be cooked. By the way, if you order all of their lunch set meals, you'll get two free craft beers. You don't even have to do it in one day. What a great deal!

It's not often you see an Australian themed restaurant in the Philippines. They also have a billiard table and happy hour promos. Head over here for some great drinks and nice company, mate!
