Coffee Lovers meet the Appraisery

.

The Appraisery's Victor Prieto and myself basically have the same opinion about Starbucks.  We both think Starbucks is overrated and overpriced.  It is a good thing he came up with the Appraisery since they have the best coffee I have ever tasted.  He shared to us that numerous celebrities come there for some coffee and some establishments want to outsource his coffee.  Victor treats his customers like family which is one of the reasons why customers keep on coming back.

The reason they are named the Appraisery is because they basically buy and sell anything you name.  If you have some clothes at home that you don't use anymore then you can bring it there and they will take them off your hands at a reasonable price.  There are a lot of board games that are available here so you could find yourself hanging out in here for hours and not even notice how fast time flies.  Victor tells us that there is a board game for everyone even for food lovers like us.

Matcha Latte (P95)

I am such a matcha lover so I ordered the Matcha Latte.  I am someone who is not easy to please when it comes to this type of drink but I was thoroughly impressed when I got to taste their version.

Mocha Frappe (P110)

I have tasted a lot of Mocha Frappe from various coffee shops and it has never tasted this good.  If you are having a conversation with Victor then it is possible you will not notice it since he loves to talk.  There is never a boring moment when Victor is around.

Caramel Mocha (P95)

One of my companions ordered the Caramel Mocha and it made her forget where she was and who she was after tasting it.  It was indeed that good.

Michelle (P150)

Michelle is named after a customer who came into the coffee shop not knowing what type of drink she wanted.  After consulting with Victor, they came up with a drink that suits her fine.  It consists of pumpkin spice, cinnamon and white chocolate.

Kumbaya (P120)

One of their best sellers is the Kumbaya.  It is an espresso milk based drink with toasted marshmallows, caramel, graham crackers.  It is advisable to drink it from the bottom as that is where the sweetness is.  It is a very addicting drink indeed.

Chicken Pesto Sandwich (P175)

After all the drinks, it was time for the food.  Pesto lovers would love their Chicken pesto sandwich and it also comes with their cassava chips which is a healthy alternative to potato chips.  The cassava chips also comes with a dip that has many ingredients.  The bloggers were so addicted to the tip that they kept on getting more of the chips.  We will never know the ingredients in the secret dip but one of them was revealed to be whipped cream.

Sushi Sandwich (P185)

The Sushi Sandwich is such a creative creation from Victor.  Once again, it comes with those tasty cassava chips.  I won't be surprised if customers would come here just for the cassava chips but the sushi sandwich should not be overlooked since they are downright delicious.

The Big Mig (P220)

The Big Mig has 8 hour slow roasted pork along with 23 different flavors so a lot of people have compared it to Dr. Pepper.  It is indeed a magnificent creation that customers would never forget.

Grilled Veggies Panini (P150)

The Grilled Veggies Panini has cheddar cheese, calamat olives, green eggplant, onions red and green bell peppers red wine vinaigrette all rolled into a ciabatta bread.  There is no doubt vegetarians would love this.

Sweet Grilled Panini (P120)

A happy ending is always what we would expect out of any meal and we have it in the form of the Sweet Grilled Panini.  It is made out of ripe bananas, toasted marshmallows, peanuts, nutella and belgian whipped cream.  Customers can add an additional 20 pesos for a scoop of ice cream.

Peanut Butter Frappe (P120)

When we were finished, I could not help but to ask Victor if I can try the Peanut Butter Frappe and he obliged.  I was so excited when he granted my wish because I am such a peanut butter lover.  It is made out of local and imported peanut butter, milk and espresso.  When I got to taste it, I had a reason right away to come back.  This drink simply rocks.

Victor Prieto makes the best espresso in town.  If you don't believe me then watch this video and find out where he gets his ingredients for it.

The sushi sandwich looks so adorable. I can maybe finish half of those on the platter with chips. Prices are equally friends. I also want the matcha latte. Give me some. :P
