Pazzo Rollio opens at Rob Magnolia

It is the first of its kind in the Philippines.

It is the country's first ever rolled pizza themed restaurant.  Pazzo Rollio (crazy rolled pizzas in Italian) promotes experiencing healthy food in a relaxing atmosphere.  There are a lot of pizza flavors to make the customers come back for more of that irresistible rolled pizza.  

I was lucky enough to be one of the bloggers invited in the grand opening of this restaurant located in the quaint Robinson's Magnolia.  The service was excellent and there were enough people assigned to the kitchen and the customers.

As a pizza lover, I knew I would come back here often since I also live in Quezon City and the mall is one of my favorite hang out places.

Big Bang Supreme (Pazzo Rollio) Solo P200 Family P380

It is such a shame that we only got to sample one of their hand rolled pizzas.  The Big Bang Supreme contained bacon, pepperoni and cheese.  I found out why it is their specialty of the house.  It did not take long for the bloggers to finish this one.

Popeye's Spinach and Artichoke Dip (P145)

This one was a nice appetizer that filled our tummies while waiting for the main course.  I really loved the dip as I was also thinking of dipping my pizza bread into it too.

De Niro's Classic Bolognese (P195)

The classic bolognese satisfied by hunger in more ways than one.  I almost had this entire plate all to myself.

Beef and Spinach Cannelloni (P165)

It was my first time to try a cannelloni and I loved it.  It made me curious about the other Cannelloni flavor on the menu which is Mushroom Truffle.

Fellini's Capellini (P185)

Chef Ivan really impressed me with his pasta dishes.  I have nothing but good things to say about all the pasta dishes I have tasted and all compliments go to the chef. 

On hand at the ribbon cutting ceremony were Marc Nelson, Chef Ivan Tajonera, Miyuki Tajonera-Talwar, Mariko Jacinto and Janeena Chan.

Marc Nelson appeared in the Amazing Race while Janeena Chan is a Fox Sports Asia courtside reporter.  Chef Ivan is well known for his signature dish, the "Pazzo Rollio" (crazy rolled pizzas) which drew rave reviews from food bloggers and newspaper columnists.

Miyuki Tajonera-Talwar is the one responsible for the overall operations of the restaurant from budget to implementation. 

Mariko Jacinto is one restaurant veteran who owned world class restaurants such as Inaho-tei at Shangri-La Hotel, Moshi Moshi and Tampico Japanese concept restaurant in Vera Mall, Makati Cinema Square.

A couple of weeks after the opening, I came back and tried the Benedict's Egg (Solo P200 Sharing P380) breakfast pizza.  I have to say that it is a very creative flavor and I would love to order it again.  Seriously, it is a pizza worth dying for.
