Party all night at 7th High

It was one of those unplanned nights as I got a message from 7th High Marketing Manager Abbi Gabasa for a food tasting event and a little bit of partying at 7th high.  Since I rarely go clubbing, I agreed and I also invited some friends as well.

Since we arrived late, we missed the appetizers as we went directly to the main course.  The slow roasted pork belly really made me want more.  The only bad thing about it is I can't have it for myself.

Crepe Suzette

There is nothing like sweet dessert for your sweet tooth.  This one is one of the best crepes I have ever tasted.  It may be too sweet for some people though.

 Adobo Pizza

Abbi asked us what we wanted aside from the set meal that was served so I quickly said Pizza.  We eventually got their specialty pizza which is Adobo pizza.  It was indeed a delicious pizza and the only bad part was we were just limited to one slice each.

It was a great night of partying with old friends and meeting new friends as well.  There is nothing like jamming to the music being played by the DJ even if I am a terrible dancer.

In a surprise turn of events, I also came across the people I met when I attended a Manila Pub Crawl.  Not only that, but the latest party goers of Manila Pub Crawl also came by and partied with us.  It was certainly a night I would not forget for a very long time.

Thankful I found Red Buffalo

While we were waiting for the rest of the food, we were given Chili Cheese Fries and they were amazing.  I have to admit I am already a regular customer of Red Buffalo which means I could not resist an invitation I got from Wazzup Pilipinas for a food tasting event here.  My favorite type of cuisine is American so that would explain why I always go here.  They even have high speed Internet so I can spend hours here.

Red Buffalo owner Cheska Zamora entertained all our questions and inquiries.  She told us Red Buffalo is named that way because the concept came from a restaurant in Buffalo, New York and they have spicy food.  The restaurant opened in May of last year and they have getting rave reviews and countless celebrities have already eaten here including KC Concpecion and Vina Morales.

We were served buffalo wings with different types of flavors including parmesan, original and teriyaki.  I have to be a little biased when I say parmesan is the best one of them all.  I munched one too many of that and ignored the rest of the flavors.

For their pizza, we were given Vegetarian pizza and RB's Special.  They only use the freshest ingredients for the Vegan pizza while RB's Special has tons of toppings including pepperoni, italian sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, black olives, ground beef, ham and white onions.

I remembered how I used to love the Double Cheesy Bacon Burger so I can't believe my eyes when they served this beauty in front of us.  It is certainly a masterpiece to enjoy and the only bad part about it is I have to share it with a lot of other people.

For pasta, we were given Chicken Alfredo and Spaghetti & Meatballs.  I already tried Chicken Alfredo before but I have yet to try the other one.  I have to give two thumbs up for both of those pasta dishes especially the Chicken Alfredo.

Even after many times of eating here at Red Buffalo, I have yet to try their Apple Bar with Vanilla Ice Cream.  The reason for that is I was just too full to eat dessert but this time I had a few slices of it and I recommend this tempting dish.

Red Buffalo is certainly an American restaurant that is head and shoulders above the rest.  I will certainly come back here and bring my friends with me.  On a side note, I was really sad when I learned their Breakfast Delight pizza got phased out.  It is a pizza that contains popular breakfast toppings on the pizza including egg.  However, I learned from Ma'am Cheska that you can still order it even if it is not in the menu.

Til we meet again, Red Buffalo.

Can't say No to Kanto Freestyle Breakfast

Kanto Freestyle Breakfast is one of those hole in the wall restaurants that you will not regret finding.  They have all day breakfast dishes that are so affordable you won't believe the prices.  We were indeed lucky enough to be invited to this event in order for us to sample their dishes.

Chef Archie and Vincent Juanta sure did a great job of whipping up affordable breakfast dishes.  All their menu items are below 90 pesos so your budget won't hurt.

This one is their version of popular street dessert Ice Scramble.  Believe it or not, this was my first time tasting something like this.  Believe me, it does not get any better than this.

One good combination that would get anyone going in the morning is eggs, bacon and french toast.  This one certainly takes the trophy as a great classic.

We quickly concluded that their oatmeal with mango, raisins and almonds is something that will get your taste off the sweet things or "pampawala ng umay".

We did not have high expectations for their pancakes but they really impressed us.  Some of my co bloggers even went as far as to say their pancakes are better than the pancakes of pancake themed restaurants.  Of course, I won't name those restaurants.  For me, the pancakes were indeed very nice.

This pandesal with eggs hollandaise will surely get your taste buds up for more food.  It is indeed a dish for the ages.

The whipped cream in this dish covered the fact that there is sardines inside it.  Since I did not see that, it was actually my first time to eat Sardines.  I can say that it was a cool experience.

You read that right.  Kanto Freestyle Breakfast is open 24/7 and that means their delicious food can be enjoyed by anybody at any time.

By the time the tapsilog came, everybody else was full and that left me as the only person who was willing to sample this delicious meal.  I was not disappointed as it is great value for your money. Their tapa is Batangas beef so you can be sure it is tender and juicy.
