Naci is Overrated

I noticed how so many food bloggers gave Naci Comfort Food a 5 star rating so I decided to check it out.  I was so surprised when I came there because there was not much people eating.  I immediately ordered Peking Chicken Pizza since I was so hungry.  The pizza was so crunchy which made me conclude it is more like tacos instead of pizza.  We also had lumpia bites for appetizer but I did not eat much of that.


 I had to try the beef caldereta lasagna since it was too tempting from the name itself being a fan of both lasagna and beef caldereta.  My girlfriend ordered pesto salmon which was pretty decent.  There was nothing really special about the lasagna so I was a little disappointed.  I also had steak and eggs since I was very hungry.  The food was good but nothing to get excited about.



I hate to be a killjoy but I have to be honest here.  Naci is a bit overrated for me.  I am not even sure if I will come back and try the other tempting dishes.  The service was above average though but that is not the only deciding factor in rating a restaurant.

so sad that you didn't like naci :( I prefer Nadine's Adobo Cannelloni over the beef caldereta lasagna. You should try it out nxt time.. that is, if you're going back hehe :)

I dined in Naci before and it's sad to see that you didn't enjoy them as much as I have. I especially loved their creamy pot pie! :)

Food tasting really depends on how we perceive it. Some really has meticulous taste buds - that's the reason why the author didn't like the food in Naci that much.

I enjoyed my visit at Naci because although their dishes are creative, the taste is just right. I loved how the caldereta worked as a lasagna. But, like berylle said, the adobo cannelloni is pretty good too. You should also the dish with the chef's name on it.. Chef ed's pork shank. It is also a dessert bar btw. =D
