Not so good service at A Venetto Pizzeria

It has been a long time since we experienced bad service so we definitely had it coming.  When we entered the restaurant, there was nobody to assist us to a seat.  After that, we saw the waiter and the cashier talking about their bets for a horse race.  It took the waiter 5 minutes to notice a new customer has arrived.  When he did, he placed two menus on our table and turned his back on us.  He came back a few minutes later and placed utensils on our table then once again turned his back on us.  

NEWS FLASH, WAITERS: DON'T EVER TURN YOUR BACK ON A CUSTOMER



We ordered bottled water, lasagna, chicken nut pesto and a create your own pizza where I chose the toppings.  My girlfriend got a bottle water but did not get a glass of ice.  The lasagna also tasted real bad since the beef tasted like it was in the fridge for so long

What branch of A Venetto is this? I hope you talked to the manager so that these service lapses would be remedied immediately.
I hope also that food establishments realize that even if they have good food, if service is bad, people would not go back.

Must be a change in management. I've been to A Venetto in Glorietta and the service was good. Establishments like this should understand that customer should be treated well especially for food establishments.

i remember eating at don henrico's and i talked to the supervisor or manager that their lasagna is super salty. she simply said, "thanks for the information mam, we'll do something about that".

That is not good lalo pag gutom kana.... bad service and bad food for me leads to closing down... words of mouth spreads fast like wild fire... malay mo d lang pala sa inyo nagyari un but to everyone na pumunta at kumain doon

You should have talked to the manager para magawan nila ng action especially sa mga waiters nila.

It is quite frustrating to have bad service and bad food at the same days from the same establishment. The management of the said restaurant should look into this.

Sorry to read about your experience, but I have to wonder...was the restaurant full when this happened? If the restaurant had lots of other customers around, waiting for 5 minutes is actually standard, if not minimal.

You should have readily call the attention of the restaurant manager. Food wouldn't taste good at all with not so good service, it will always end up feeling bad.

Something should be critically evaluated here. When something gets bad what can you expect? This could be sort of mismanagement.
